On request of one of our customers, specialized in food supplements, we have refurbished a used CAM case packer.
The operation consisted of three phases :
- A cleaning of the machine and a first-level maintenance were performed.
- The machine was then set to the required format.
- Finally, the automatism was completely taken up. Originally, everything was managed by electronic cards. Our customer asked us to change this, for reliability reasons. Now, the machine is controlled by a Siemens PLC with a touch screen.
The process lasted one month and a half (with one technician and one automation engineer).
This used case packer is now ready to be shipped to the production site (see video below).
