One of our customers, a major actor of the pharmaceutical industry, contacted us to solve the following issue: following previous works, rising damp appeared, in particular in a powder’s weighing zone ; we were consulted for the restoration of the soils.
The operation consisted in:
- Moving the premises,
- Dismantling the doors,
- Stripping the soil to reach the primer mortar,
- Adding a layer of anti- moisture,
- Adding a floor resin,
- Adding an antistatic/dissipative coating in the weighing zone.
Ingecentre monitored the whole project:
- Annotation of the existing plans,
- Specifications,
- Consultation of companies,
- Comparative tables,
- Assistance with mastery of work,
- Supervision work.
This operation (budget 150.000 €) was realized in emergency conditions, because it required a 3 weeks’ production stop.
All the zone was renovated, and today this rising damp problem is solved.
